The Cross Reports:
The Harper Affair
by Bob Bowersox,
$3.99 ebook, $14.95 paperback

Nick Cross is an investigative reporter who’s seen too much of the streets – too much crime, too much betrayal, too much death. So when the opportunity presents itself to trade the empty ugliness of the streets for the opulent luxury suites of the political campaign beat, Nick Cross jumps at it. But there’s more to Senator Jefferson Harper’s campaign than glad-handing and kissing babies, and Cross soon finds that the political games played in the posh suites of the rich and powerful can be as deadly as any game played on the mean streets he’s trying to leave behind. The Cross Reports are the play-by-play, behind-the-scenes chronicling of the most explosive stories Nick Cross has covered in over twenty years of reporting. Richly cast with characters right out of today’s headlines, the story unfolds at the pace of a man with a deadline, whose cynical eye and jugular instincts barely keep him one step ahead of those who are trying to stop him.
