Albert L. Kelley is an attorney located in Key West, Florida and concentrates primarily in the areas of business, corporations, contracts, copyright, trademark, and entertainment law.
In 2002, Al Kelley planned, developed and produced an award-winning video biography of Capt. Tony Tarracino, internationally known saloon owner, gambler, charter boat captain, gunrunner and Mayor of Key West (Tarracino was the subject of Jimmy Buffett's song "Last Mango In Paris"). Al later joined filmmaker Talmadge Heyward and magazine publisher Shirrel Rhoades to form Talmadge Studios, LLC which has produced numerous documentaries and is working on feature film projects. More recently, Albert and Shirrel Rhoades formed Gee Whiz Entertainment, LLC and with Kevin Rhoades formed Rhoadeskill LLC, which are currently completing several feature film and pay-per-view projects.
Kelley's film projects include: "Capt. Tony's Key West" (Capt. Tony Productions, LLC), "Key West City of Colors" (Talmadge Studios), ""End of the Road" (William Selesnick Productions, LLC), "Cross Bones" (Pop Art Film Factory), numerous Fantasy Fest documentaries (Talmadge Studios, LLC and Gee Whiz Productions, LLC) and "Year of the Donkey" (Rhoadeskill Productions, LLC).
Aside from his numerous newspaper columns, Al Kelley has written books, screenplays, poetry and short stories.
Writing, like reading a good book provides an escape. I never know where it will take me, and I can create worlds and situations to explore.
