Meet The Author


James R. Fox has been putting his thoughts onto paper for many years, both in poetry and as essays. Here are selected works that reflect his sensitivity as a poet and his straightforward opinions as an essayist. “These are my favorite pieces that I have written from the time of my youth up to the present,” says Fox. "I touch upon many topics such as religion, music, family and friends, politics." Jim Fox received an Associate Liberal Arts degree from Queens Borough Community College. Now retired, he devotes his time to writing, music, photography, traveling, and reading. Among his publications are The Wake, Wisdom of Wishes, Christmas Eve, and The Map of the Carpenter. His "Key West" poem was selected for inclusion in The 2013 Robert Frost International Poetry and Haiku Contest anthology. His novella Tails I Win Heads You Lose will be published later this year.
